===Sylvia===

The man gave an apologetic smile. He made a quick note to include mentioning this clearly in the next classes, before turning to leave. The next batch of trainees needed him, after all. The guard saluted, offering no comment as he silently followed after the woman, standing at attention as she, much to his surprise, insulted the scholars. "Well, you see..." The scholar was cut off due to the interruption of the other woman. He quickly shook his head, focusing back on the subject at hand. "We don't know specifically how and where the Keyblades are, we only have rumors upon which you may act." The scholar informed her. "However... There is a rumor of a weapon that vaguely fits the description of a Keyblade." He continued, quickly digging through his files, before yanking a folder out and handing it to her. "Maybe it would be a wise idea to also visit the Weapons Research Center, they might have something interesting on the Keyblades."

===Kevin===

The guards followed the man with their helmets, and possibly their eyes, although there was no way to confirm that. When one of hem was chosen, he stepped forward to salute, almost fumbling at the word 'hello'. "Good day, Sir Kevin." He replied, quickly recovering his composure as he followed the man to meet the scholars. One of the scholars hummed at the request. "This one should be fairly easy." The scholar informed, handing a folder to Kevin. "It's a fairly straight forward mission, you have to go to get the daily report from the leader in Hollow Bastion, and bring it back here to Captain Steiner."

===Althea===

The guard snapped to attention and moved to salute, but noticed Althea had already moved, quickly running after her. Great, he had gotten the impatient one, he realized as he rolled his eyes. The most elderly scholar noticed her rush, and gently separated her from the other two, clearing his throat. "If it is combat you wish, maybe you should report directly to the war room." The elder suggested. "They always have a few combat missions in store for any brave enough to take them." He coughed softly, age seeming to have caught up with him a long time ago. "Of course, you could just head over to Twilight Town or Hollow Bastion, if you want to attack or defend, respectively."

"Sign me up with these two, and whoever else tags along" She Blurted out, tapping a foot upon the ground impatiently. Eager for combat.. for something to occupy her mind. To once again become drowned in tactical analysis and the flurry of battle. Quick to jump the gun, Althea spoke aloud to her two would-be compatriots, without so much as knowing if they'd even be undertaking the same assignment, her eyes keeping forward.

"Just let me handle the front-line, and don't get yourselves hurt" She Spoke again in her pride, taking the initiative. It was simply what she was used to, she had meant no harm in her stalwart up-front manner of presenting herself.

Tekun walked out and approached Althea, Sylvia and Kevin, silent as always, he watched, not giving two s*** if he had an escourt or not. He had a goal, that was what mattered.

"You havn't changed a bit have you." Tekun said to Althea. "I'll tag along, someone needs to keep an eye on you. Lest you bite off more then you can chew."

Tekun crossed his arms, he spoke not c*** but calmly, as if he knew from experience in a sense. It had been a while since they last met, he wasn't sure if Althea would recognize him or not, but he definently recognized her.

Althea hadn't noticed her guards dismay at all, too lost in her own ambition as it were. She did however notice the familiar voice behind her, abruptly turning on heel away from the elderly scholar providing her with the information. She did however catch what he was saying, she was just generally uninterested in light of Tekun's arrival.

"Tekun!, It's been many moons!" She Spoke to him, faced in his direction. She grasped the sides of her white-coat and gave him a respectful curtsy. "I hadn't noticed you too were beckoned to this foreign kingdom, it'd be an honor to fight alongside you once more" Her right hand grasped firmly at the sword's handle again. "If its tagging along with me you seek, you came just in time Sir Tekun". Turning her head towards the scholar's assigning the others their duties. She continued on from where she had before, as if ignoring their specific orders to them completely. "Oi, No wonder our services were so humbly inquired, what kind of tactic is it to split us all up?, You're about to send the boy off on an errand for Abalia's sake!" Althea took her own tactician experience on high. She truly cared not for attaining a key blade, at least not currently. Her mind sought only to assess the enemy at this point. She hadn't actually /seen/ one of these Heartless or Nobody's quite yet. She had only heard of them in the lectures. "Why not have the bunch of us move together? Sir Tekun and i can keep the boy safe if its harms way he seeks to stay out of, and im sure we can help the girl find her fancy blade."

"It's not sir anymore Athea. I've lost the right to such a title." Tekun said with a somewhat mournful tone. The enemy is strong. Stronger then you think. I perfer we act in groups, if not, it will only lead to more troubles. Anyway, i'd like to get to work. It'll be like old times." Tekun crossed his arms. It became abundently clear he had a vendetta to end.

"Who died and made her King Mickey?" thought Sylvia as the red haired girl abruptly began talking to her assuming that she was going to join the scrawny looking kid and bossy girl. She returned her attention to the scholar who was speaking to her.

Sylvia sighed and took the folder that the scholar held out to her. She felt that everyone was useless but she shrugged it off. "Did anyone here know how a keyblade wielder became an actual KEYBLADE WIELDER?" she thought to herself, very annoyed. Her next destination would have to be in the weapons research centre. Her thoughts were interrupted when another graduate walked over to the little clump that they had formed near the scholars, she didn't bother to listen to what he had to say, though caught a few words of what he said. "Oh joy now a babysitter wants to join."she thought spitefully. Sylvia also caught a bit of what the other scholar said to bossy red headed girl. The bossy girl and the babysitter appeared to know each other well. So she shrugged at their idea to work together. "Yeah we might as well work together. My aunts always say that there is power in numbers"

The scholar didn't want to involve himself, but he knew that this wouldn't end well if he didn't. "Have you heard the expression, putting all your eggs in one basket?" He asked. "The Kingdom's main goal is protecting all the worlds we can, which is why we can't afford to bunch you together." He continued his explanation. "Of course, since you are freelancers, you are free to go where you wish, but I am certain that you would be more use to more people if you split up." He suggested.

It was then that the guard Althea had randomly chosen decided to speak up. "The castle already employs multiple armies that are more than competent enough, what they need is people who can hold their own in a battle, not just in a group."

Kevin opened his mouth to respond to the red haired lady but quickly stopped. A group couldn't hurt...He thought, glancing over at the three other people. They all look so much better at fighting than me...He thought again, now opening his mouth to say something until he was interrupted at The red hair lady's guard. "The castle already employs multiple armies that are more than competent enough, what they need is people who can hold their own in a battle, not just in a group." Said the guard. "I'd still prefer traveling in a group though.." He mumbled audibly more to himself than to anyone else.

Althea.. well, it was no secret. She was a tad bit c***, though she had an idea of what it was she was doing... or thought so anyway. This wasn't her world anymore afterall. this was a different battle field and the terms of battle were changed. None-the-less..

"Ah c***, You employ the boy here as a spy and try to make him a paper-carrier!" She hadn't caught the long haired boy's faint response aloud to himself, Not among the chattering between them and the sounds of people moving to and fro. She took his assistance as granted anyhow, in her normal line of work, when you don't speak up, its assumed you agree. She did though hear the Pointy eared mage. "And see? She agree's as well." She continued, ignoring her guard for the time being, Turning fully towards the scholar now. "I ask you only give it a chance, Is there not need for a bulk force? especially one as diverse as this ones turning out to be." She settled down a bit now form her stalwart voice, relaxing her shoulders and giving a deep sigh. She didn't know many of these people, for true. She only knew Tekun, whom she noted had a vivid tone of mourning in his voice. Perhaps the heat of battle was just what he needed? she thought to herself, making up her won conclusions as long as it served her purposes. It had been too long.. she had somewhat lost the grasp for assessment she once had. But the excitement of it all.. the thrill, it clouded her mind. This venture of theirs.. for her own ends, would serve as an endeavor for her own solace, and remittance of prior transgressions.

Sylvia rose her eyebrow "Who do these useless "unknowing where keyblades are" people think they are?" she thought to herself, tempted to turn the lot of them into toads "They should mind their own business hmph...we're their superiors now." She placed her hands on her hips and shifted her weight to one leg, it seemed that the red headed girl felt the same way and told them so, though without the colourful language she felt like using. She nodded in agreement with what she said. Hoping that an early alliance would help her to get herself a keyblade.

=== Ross ===

Other Incarnates and Shamans quickly retrieved their wands and left the table without a word. Most magic users were silent, mostly to prevent the accidental casting of incantations not yet known to them. The next thing to do would be to recieve orders, obviously. The Mission Study was set right next to the Armory, easily accessible to all newer recruits. Many others had already entered.

=== Niniva ===

She rounded the doorway, revealing the entire hall. For a room dedicated to handing out mission wavers, it was admirably elaborate. The lines thinned quickly as all who approached the desk were handed a slip of paper with their job. Being Nobodies, they didn't question their assignment. The listless indifference of non-existence was definitely a plus in running an army or completing menial tasks that would otherwise demean a righteously guided soldier.

Nini stepped up to the table and was handed a small brown slip. She immediately grabbed it and moved from the line, allowing several others to be assigned in the next two seconds. The orders on her paper commanded her to accompany one other to the Lycian Provinces and eliminate a troublesome alliance that had been constantly showing aggressive behavior toward the new rulers of the land. The ally would be met in the cafe. The call sign would be a green illumination upon a standard pole.

=== Amexa ===

Fortunately for Amexa, Nobodies had zero emotions, therefore none questioned her odd weapon choice. Several of the cutthroats glanced in her direction, but seemed to pay no heed to her robes or displacement. The wave of stalkers was apparently running through toward several rooms and chambers, mainly the Mission Study and Certified Course Training Regiment. It would be daringly unwise to do battle with the forces of being without proper direction, so a mission would first thing to do, not to mention the easiest objective to settle into Nobody's lifestyle. A sly woman, one of the few among burly pigs, was already heading toward the Study as she disappeared inside.

Luke observed the group with great s****, finally deciding to assert himself. He had been watching the unpicked guards closely, though with them clad in armor, this was difficult. He walked up to a guard and sighed. "You're with me." Luke said casually, though it seemed a bit forced, the slightest hint of hesitation in his voice. Without waiting for his new guard, he walks towards one of the scholars farthest away from the group, purposefully passing right next to them. "Anything a single man can handle. I don't care for what it is, anything to get me out of this castle." He muttered to the scholar, clearly showing his uncomfortableness with a "slave" breathing down his neck every minute of the day.

Niniva stood, trailing her eyes over the text, ensuring she had it all understood. It seemed simple enough, as alien as the circumstances were, it seemed business as usual regardless. The rules of battle never change, for those who play without rules. She folded the paper shut with her thumb, stowing it away within one of the pockets of her assigned hooded robe. The silent halls echoing only with the sounds of scampering feet moving place to place, she trodded down the deep hall. Why am i here right now?.. she asked herself in her thoughts. Is this all im good for? The taking of life? she questioned further.. finding her own callousness disturbing, as she felt a certain.. contentment in taking the malevolent instructions of others. Had she more time to ponder, perhaps she'd have felt disgust; But it hadn't been long until she wandered across that Cafe. Her pacing stopped, hazel eyes peering upwards at the droll 'Cafe' Sign. She wold then step inside casually, scanning around the vicinity until her eyes caught the pole marked by the green illumination. Stepping towards the area, she quickly slipped herself into the booth. Her head had been pointed downward, so she hadn't quite caught a glimpse at her associates face , only noting someone was indeed on the other side of that table, right near the green-light, just as her orders stated.

The scholar fumbled with his words, the pressure the woman was putting on him was making him very nervous. "W-well... You see..." These hadn't been things that he had decided or taken any part in deciding, he was just executing his orders.

Help came from an unexpected corner however, as a short laugh ran through the room. Leaning against the door was a kid, probably in the mdidle of his teenage years, had just left bed due to the fact that his hair had more spikes than a hedgehog, and seemed to have a profound love for zippers, due to his outfit. "I like the red haired one, she has an interesting persona." He said to the guard that seemed to be escorting him. This guard wore the same outfit as most, but his helmet was different, having a large feather, as well as keeping his face visible. There wasn't a big difference, from the boring look on his face. "Tell me, what will you do when worlds are completely destroyed, because you are all too busy dealing with one issue instead of multiple?"

===Luke===

The guard followed without hesitation, having learned that he had no time to offer a salute to the man that probably didn't even care about getting one. "Yes Sir Luke." He told the man instead.

The scholar hummed, looking through his files, pulling out one in particular. "This is an easy one." The man stated, handing the folder to Luke. "It's an assignment given to us by Cid Highwind, who needs someone to pilot a gummi ship in order to test a new automated defense system in Hollow Bastion." He explained the general outline of the assignment.

"Not much left at that point to do other then hide." Tekun said. "I don't intend to let it happen." "Again." he couldn't help but think. "All the more reason to mount an attack and end this." He said. "When can we get going." He said rather impaitently. The longer he waited, the more of a chance his friends were dead or hurt. It had already been two months since he left.

Luke turned around, putting his face just inches away from the guards'. "Either drop the formal stuff or don't bother following me around. You're a protector, not a slave. Act like it." Luke whispered, clearly angry. Apparently no amount of time would allow him to get over his sensitivity on slavery. Many thought he took it much too seriously, and many more ended up beaten for it. He got out of the Guards' masked face and turned back to the scholar with a delightful smile, something of such power you couldn't tell he was faking it. "Sounds great. I've heard of Cid before. Grisly man, that.. Automated defense system? Doesn't that mean there's the possibility I'll get shot down?" Luke questioned with another hint of hesitation in his voice. He was a fairly good pilot, remaining calm throughout his many practice flights, but he had never had any real evasive training.
