Hmm...
How about... a sword...
but it turns into 10 swords...
that are all gunblades...
that breathe fire and shoot lasers...
and have chainsaw attachments...
and, when put together, turn into a giant fighting robot.
That seems epically stereotypical enough. Perhaps they should turn into shoes...
