Sadly not,at least not SSF2-esque. However, you will walk at a very low pace and holding the Attack button will result in repeated use of Side A And Up A as a chain. The same order occurs if you hold A while running normally, but I think this nonetheless deserves a mention. also check the SSF1BR if you have some spare time

I like the tier list. Thanks for putting in the effort to make this CSFBR! ^_^ Only a few changes that I would make.

Shadow and Blade should be switched in my opinion. Shadow's pretty terrible in every respect outside of edgeguarding, having awful range, awful kill power and unexpectedly average mobility. Blade has similar problems killing and also lacks a projectile, but his up attack is better for killing than anything Shadow has, he has a better neutral, he is very fast, has a damaging jump, quicker attacks, grounded down attack to make the lack of range less of an issue, as well as edgeguarding that's about as good as Shadow's. Blade's not the worst in the game imo.

I feel that Super Sonic and Sonic underrated as well. They both have great kill options (Neutral attack and up attack as potential instakills for both, aerial down attack good for both and grounded down attack good for SS. Sonic's forward attack is also awesome, giving him a decent edgeguarding tool and sort of a combo move as well. The burst mobility from Spin Dash is also really important and Spin Dash from Super Sonic is particularly amazing. I feel that both of them are around where Meta Knight, Samus and Zelda are in viability.

Finally, why is Temple used over Emerald Hill Zone? Both stages are fairly balanced, but Temple's high platforms and longer stage make it way easier to camp and run away. Emerald Hill seems like a more competitive stage. Tbh, I think this game could do with a Full Stage Strike List with Battlefield, FD, Pokemon Stadium, Dreamland and Emerald Hill Zone as the legal stages since the first four stages at least have about equal claims in competitiveness and EHZ isn't far behind them.

I find it kind of hilariously ironic that the top-tier character is the only one that can't be unlocked with the Skip Glitch. I'm just going to say that.

So, I figured I would revive this topic by saying that, during the wait for Beta, I am currently in the process of datamining this game. My goal is to get a tier list based on all aspects of a character's moveset, with the addition to new discoveries in advanced techniques.

imo i think should be A tier. His down attack (or spindash) is an amazing approuch option as it is fast and travels a far distance and can jump cancel into a down air. Down attack to Down Air can kill 60% if you time it right.

EDIT: Also I feel is underrated. Sure she lacks range and has bad mobility, but her down attack travels far and fast and works exactly like Sonic's down attack. It's actually a great approach option

Quick update on progress:

I got most of the actual game figured out now. Currently working on making character hitbox images, which is gonna take a while. Especially considering that I realized I was doing it wrong halfway through the roster already. Fun times.

Currently I've done Blade and Samus under the new system, with the rest coming over the span of the next month or so. With any luck, I'll have this project finished before Beta drops.

Here is a fun fact: The voice actress who did the announcer and Naruto is named Kira Buckland. She still has a career in voice acting, having voiced characters such as Eirika in Fire Emblem Heroes and Trucy Wright in Spirit of Justice. I feel like I need to be doing something with this information, but I don't know what.

She has also voiced Marie in Skullgirls, 2B in Nier Automata and a bunch of other characters in official dubs of animes I haven't seen + having worked in several indie projects and games in Newgrounds. (Also known as Rina-chan).
She's definitely a star among dubbing
