So I downloaded SSF2 on a different computer cause mine bit the dust as they say. So I unzip it, it runs properly, I set my desired controls on the keyboard and I start a match to get the rust off.

But my attacks arent registering like 70% of the time? I don't know if it's the keyboard i'm using. But I don't feel like having to replace something thats not even mine if it's not necessary. Can you help lil ol me?

EDIT: I checked the data folder, and I think i'm missing some of the files that correlate to the attack functions. How did this happen?

Some files are missing anyway, i.e. they skip numbers.

Honestly, it may be your processor not sending the input to the game.

Do your keys not work or is it only some combination of keys? Some keyboards have anti-ghosting, which means you can only press so many keys in a section before they stop registering. On my laptop, you can't press up+down+left, but you can press up+down+right, which messes me up when I play Peach and do float tricks, for example.
