Also, it says it's a Grindhouse spin-off.
Now, I haven't seen Grindhouse, but I doubt it takes place in the same universe as Spy Kids.

Haha, it looks great. I'm lovin' the grindhouse films that people are making, these days. If it doesn't do more than give us some cheap laughs and awesome explosions, then it'll be fun as f***.

Well Rodriguez made a FAKE trailer for Grindhouse featuring Machete ages ago. He loved it and put him in Spy Kids with the last name Cortez. After Spy Kids ended he wanted to make a Machete film, he kept the last name of Cortez in this film. So really, it has more officially to do with Spy Kids than Grindhouse. _________________

When I first saw this, I thought it was going to be a fake.
But after seeing that.....Never expected that coming. But I'm still skeptical about this movie.
