So people remember that they can post news stories and that no one is enforcing the,"atleast one story per month rule."
EDIT:I was wondering if there's something to be done so more people besides me and purple post stories so it gets more activity. |

You're right, there's nothing worth reporting that you can't find on a newspaper or a big news site these days. Really I kinda don't see the point of the section anymore.

I don't know, I'm not sure it would lead to a healthy debate seeing as not only does it require some knowledge of the topic, "experts" sometimes make things up, like that Google buying up 4chan claim I read about yesterday (and a great laugh was had).

While I do see your point, it wouldn't be any different than managing any other section. Facts would be double-checked, and debates that degenerate into flames would be locked. _________________    |

^ I like this suggestion, since I really like the idea of a place to keep discussing some of the silly news stories out there. Plus I'd hate to see the section completely die.
