the .app doesn't even have the sf2 logo. It's the paper, pencil, and ruler icon. When I try to start it up, the icon just bounces around on the dock for a sec and then closes on its own. I have the latest flash installed. I don't know what's wrong.

Make sure your Revision is 1982, a patch happened not too long ago. If you're up to date, try re-downloading. Best advice I can give you, as i'm not a mac user.
