We already have Snivy in Crusade, and I don't see it, Emboar, or Kinklang in a roster like SSF2.

Zoroark could work, though. Meloetta and Sceptile are also good choices.

A. He did replace Mewtwo. Sakurai was planning on putting Mewtwo in, but REPLACED him with Lucario. I suppose by that logic, we should blame Pokemon Trainer for replacing Pulse and Mimum as well.

B. Do you honestly think Lucario is going to be in this and Mewtwo isn't?

         Mewtwo was not replaced by Lucario. Mewtwos data files (along with a few others) were found on the Brawl disc. He was never finished, and according to Sakurai, it was due to time restraints. He also said that Lucario almost didnt make the cut either for the same reason if the team hadnt put so much work into it. Stop spreading false information.

Emboar has potential for a moveset, but I dont see him in this game. A Gen 5 PokemonTrainer ala Brawl would be cool tho. Eevee sounds actually pretty cool, and Zoroark has in fact a good movepool to choose from, check the "Expansion character moveset" thread for one. I personally speculate Mewtwo, Lucario, Zoroark and a Pokemon Traimer from any region to join the Pokemon reps.

Regardless, a LOT of people who didn't know that information thought Lucario replaced Mewtwo. And knowing the people who play McLeodGaming, if Lucario got in and not Mewtwo, the same kind of rage would be distributed to the devs. If it were me running the show, I'd probably avoid the whole thing and put Mewtwo in instead of Lucario, then maybe confirm the latter as an expansion later on.

And I HIGHLY doubt ANY Pokemon Trainer is going to get the cut. Unless he's gonna fight with Pokemon gear, he can just drop out of the tournament.
