Hi,

I'm here. I've been here for maybe 5 (?) months after an incredibly extensive absence. In that time I completed my undergraduate degree, decided not to do law school, and instead took up a master's degree, which I also recently completed. I am now working for an organization that allows me a bit more freedom (compared to university) but requires me to maintain a much lower internet presence (hence why my Facebook has been dead).

Out of school for a few months, I finally had time for the first time in years to pick up some of my old hobbies, which made me feel a bit nostalgic about MG. I was an incredibly shy kid, super sheltered by literally everyone around me, and MG was the first place to give me a voice. I started as the forum's kid sister and then somehow became a forum admin. I can truly say my confidence grew in part because of the support (and antagonism >.>) that I received here over the years.

Now I'm back, mostly because I miss my beloved RP chickadees, but also because I miss so many of you lovelies as well (Especially Geno, Steven, and Luke my little ones). I don't think I'll ever return to full capacity, work is crazy and life is crazy, but know that I'm watching and thinking fondly of all of you.

twitter is where most of the oldboys reside nowadays. You can protect your tweets but idk if that counts as secure for your purposes. Are you able to tell us what you do?

hi sammy!! i missed u too! is the new organization the nsa dude. blink if ur in trouble. twitter n discord are the things people r using to talk now, i think whatsapp is the most “secure” messaging app easily available out there.

I'm doing well!

I work for a specialized department in the Canadian government and interact with a number of other departments, agencies and international allies depending on the project. There are a number of projects involved that I monitor between my department and sometimes (usually) involving others.

I really love my job because it's super fun, I get to learn a lot, and it keeps me on my toes, but on the flip side there is a lot that I can't really talk about outside of my co-workers. >.>' Anything I do say basically can only be said in person because I can't say it over the phone so I end up having to wait to visit my parent's in person to tell them about work lol

Hello Kiks! Long time no see.

I'm not 100% sure when we talked last exactly, but in the past 1.5/2 years I graduated and got my teaching degree and started my masters degree. My girlfriend and I also moved into a new appartement just last month. Life's pretty busy with work and study but enjoyable.

I'm glad you still think of us and will pop by every now and then! Good luck with the masters degree and work!

Definitely not, it's owned by Facebook. Wouldn't trust it whatsoever. Best possible option is either Telegram (which I personally use) or Signal (which I haven't tried yet but hear good things about).
