viewtopic.php?f=43&t=37791 please let me know if this isn't the case but this is another retarded "LOOK THE MEDIA HATES VIDEO GAMES" topic we've had a billion of those already and they all lead to the same discussions making more topics like that is completely worthless and adds nothing to the section personally i think the whole section is dumb and you should just make a topic in other if you want to talk about a news story but if you're not going to remove it, the least you can do is stop it being full of topics where everyone gets mad/laughs at somebody who said video games are bad |

I'm not saying "ban him from the section", I'm saying "tell him (and everyone else) to stop s*** up the section with regular topics that are essentially about the same thing".

He means banning the topics themselves, like making a rule so every story that has something related to a children shooting and video games being involved doesn't get posted, or something along those lines. Correct me if i'm wrong, Kyuubit (or anyone). unlock'd |

Ok I get it, but I don't see a reason to band this kind of topic altogether. News is news, so while we're discussing let's get to the root of the problem and talk about perhaps banning consecutively similar articles. In other words, if you only post articles that fit the same theme in a short period of time (video game violence, gun violence, etc), your topic will get instantly locked and/or deleted.

EDIT: and then just leave it as that, or just make one little topic about it in the current events section where people can post new info on it when something related to it pops up. |
