[Question] Movie clips outlining instead of displaying?

i was using flash 8 one night and i accidentally did something that made it where everytime i import something its just a blackwhite space with a green border around it. how do i take it off ... plz help.

Sounds like you have turned onion skinning on. One the timeline bar, look for the coloured squares next to the layer name and make sure it is solid and not an outline.

And you forgot the question tag!
