Actually, in Kendo, one slash is to break armor ,while the second slash is supposed hit the same place to be lethal, but I doubt that was what he was thinking...

EDIT: first animation seems to have screwed up, those awkward looking slashes are supposed to be much faster..
EDIT2: Never mind. Safari is a crappy browser when it comes to GIFs.. FireFox ftw
