I'm forced to use my old slow profile on my computer because there's a virus on my recent one. It won't allow me to open Internet Explorer or a virus scanner, nor will it any other EXCEPT the original explorer. It won't allow me to open the Task Manager either. I've opened the virus scanner on this profile of mine so I can possibly remove it from my recent one.
If you can help me with this, please do! I'm in dire need of it!

Restart your computer in safe mode. You can do that by restarting and pressing f8. Install Malwarebytes and run a scan. Hopefully you can get the virus that way. If all else fails, bqckup any essential files onto a usb drive, and use the OS reinstall disk that should have come with the computer. If you have no idea what I just said, step away from the computer and find someone who does.

Who knows if thedespised2166 visited a porn site that caused the virus? Still, that would be a good lesson to show. Sites that seem suspicious or do not look safe should not be visited.

Pc: Go to the start menu and type in Msconfig in the search engine. When it pops up go to startup and disable all, after that go to services (MUST CHECK HIDE ALL MICROSOFT) then click disable all. This will not get rid of the virus but it will temporarily disable it so you can work to get a proper fix on it using a preferred anti-virus program.
Edit: If all else fails, delete your account.

Well thankfully, ESET was the savior of it all. I'm back on my account and I'm runnin' fine. Thanks for the help guys. And no, I wasn't on a porn site... Hmm... could've been from the rom downloads...
