Went to the DMV to pay car registration, today. I don't know why people say it's complicated. Yeah, the wait times are extremely long, but they make everything piss-easy to understand.

It's still terrible having to sit next to a million angry ghetto f*** for three hours on plastic chairs that are connected to each other because the DMV was afraid of losing them. Thanks, North Sac.

there's this stubborn guy i keep dealing with on a group chat i'm in/own who is incredibly stubborn
of all things we're arguing about, we're arguing about sonic adventure 2
not only does he say that the game is pretty much perfectly fine bug-wise and the only ones you can encounter are the ones you go out of your way for, but he also just sits there and says "just do x" when the fact stands it's a glitch
aaaaaaaa: show
[10:24:35 AM] Kuro: i just started sonic adventure 2 up
[10:24:41 AM] Kuro: and got the mystic light as shadow and used the light attack
[10:24:47 AM] Kuro: and all he's doing is circling around the enemies and i can't do s*** about it
[10:32:36 AM] Kuro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69CMVBvvZeM
[11:02:27 AM] Kuro: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Sc7IGvNCxM he stopped 10 minutes later
[1:36:54 PM] Kamuna: You have to press B when he does that and he'll stop.
[1:37:32 PM] Kuro: that's not particularly safe where i used it
[1:37:39 PM] Kuro: plus the fact stands that the move is glitched
[1:40:36 PM] Kamuna: Well if you're a certain distance away from something a homing move in any game will go around in circles. It just so happens that in this game, it is at a place where you can't hit the enemy.
[1:41:02 PM] Kuro: these enemies were placed directly in front of where i got the power up in a line
[1:41:18 PM] Kamuna: Yup.
[1:41:26 PM] Kuro: which is where the power up should owrk
[1:41:27 PM] Kuro: work*
[1:42:03 PM] Kamuna: It doesn't matter. You activated it at a bad moment.
[1:42:10 PM] Kuro: i literally stood there
[1:42:11 PM] Kuro: and used the attack
[1:42:15 PM] Kuro: there were no special conditions
[1:43:06 PM] Kamuna: [1:41 PM] Kamuna:

<<< certain distance away
[1:43:23 PM] Kuro: i tried it later in the same spot
[1:43:25 PM] Kuro: it hit a few enemies
[1:43:28 PM] Kuro: and then looped infinitely
[1:43:34 PM] Kuro: it is a broken move. it does not work.
[1:44:43 PM] Kamuna: Then just use homing attack
[1:44:57 PM] Kuro: IT'S STILL BROKEN

you have to be really, really delusional to sit there and say a game that a lot of people like is absolutely flawless when it's quite clearly not
i love the f*** out of persona 3 and tales of graces but persona 3 has pretty bad AI in most cases and tales of graces has awkward voice actors along with a meh story. i'm not going to sit here and deny that it's not.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA: show
[1:45:13 PM] Kuro: that's like a stage glitching the f*** out in a game and the only solution is "dont play that level"
[1:48:57 PM] Kamuna: No that's a completely different thing.
[1:49:06 PM] Kamuna: You don't need light attack to complete the game.
[1:49:16 PM] Kamuna: It's just an extra.
[1:49:18 PM] Kamuna: Extra useless.
[1:49:40 PM] Kamuna: It's not safe in most cases.
[1:51:00 PM] Kuro: alright how about a bonus stage that's glitchy as hell
[1:51:44 PM] Kamuna: Do you need it to get something? If not then okay. Don't play that level.
[1:52:05 PM] Kuro: but the fact stands that it's sloppy and unprofessional
[1:52:06 PM] Kuro: on top of that
[1:52:13 PM] Kuro: considering that sonic adventure 2 has been ported FOUR TIMES
[1:52:28 PM] Kuro: and i'm playing the NEWEST VERSION OF IT and this is still here
[1:52:34 PM] Kuro: then it's just ridiculous
[1:55:12 PM] Kamuna: Four times? Since when?
[1:55:34 PM] Kamuna: It was only for Dreamcast and Gamecube
[1:55:35 PM] Kuro: Sonic Adventure 2 > Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (GC) > Sonic Adventure 2 (PS3/Xbox) > Sonic Adventure 2 (PC)
[1:55:41 PM] Kamuna: Oh
[1:55:46 PM] Kuro: and i'm playing it on PC
[1:55:48 PM] Kamuna: Forgot about PS3/Xbox
[1:55:54 PM] Kamuna: It was ported onto the PC?
[1:55:58 PM] Kamuna: I call BS
[1:55:58 PM] Kuro: yeah it's on steam
[1:56:09 PM] Kamuna: Maybe it is the port having problems.
[1:56:17 PM] Kuro: i distinctly remember this in the GC version
[1:56:23 PM] Kamuna: Sometimes more bugs happen in ports
[1:56:29 PM] Kuro: oh come the f*** on
[1:56:34 PM] Kamuna: I do too but it didn't happen often.
[1:56:51 PM] Kuro: it happened all four times i tried to use the attack on the enemies that were INTENDED to be hit

i hate knowing i'm arguing about sonic

oops, i meant 'in some cases' i don't know why i typed 'most'
but the infamous marin karin and also i've had my party members constantly attack Nyx when the moonless gown was up, along with their other really odd ideas (such as not prioritizing the MC when it comes to healing. i've seen a video where someone used a medicine on him, then diarahan'd Yukari)

it's not nearly as funny as sonic adventure 2's AI (I've had Knuckles run into the wall twice and do nothing in one case, then spam his special in the other)
