Eesh, what a lousy replacement I've been. In my defence, I'm just now getting over a cold, but that's kind of a lame excuse. Anyway.

My primary concern at the moment is DJ Wizard Cop. On the surface, he appears to have been a strong town leader for the past two days, but there are little things here and there that make me think that's he's actually pushing a mafia agenda. When he did that whole probability analysis, it took Crabby's input to sway him towards the most obvious pro-town option, which was lynching Day 1. DJ wiz is a pretty smart guy, and it surprised me that he didn't push that angle himself in the first place. Potentially more surprising, however, is that he did not push harder to avoid hitting the deadline with no lynch after he supposedly came to agree with Crabby's position. I think we're dealing with a mafiosi in disguise.

Could you elaborate on why you believe Day 1 lynch is obviously the most pro-town option? The chance of hitting an investigator is equal to that of hitting scum and Day 1 lynch removes an investigation cycle. I'm open to you making a case for it and convincing me that it's the obvious choice, but I've ran the numbers and I don't see an obvious conclusion. Please back up your points.

The rest of your post assumes that I concluded that Day 1 lynch was the best option so uh, reread the thread.

Even if I was pro-Day 1 lynch, do you know how hard it is to push for a Day 1 lynch when there are players that are as inactive as your player slot has been?

Terra/Pach: Annoyingly inactive slot, leaning town on gut but there's almost nothing to make a read on.
Doqtor Kirby: Null for the moment, please actually post something that we can get a read on. (notice a theme here?)
Savy: The most lurkiest of lurking slots, then makes an OMGUS post with flaws that he hasn't addressed yet? Leaning scum.
Droe: Lurky and hasn't done anything aside from that reads post, possible scum connection to Savy? It would make sense with the "We shouldn't kill TOWK" statement.

I feel kind of icky for metagaming so hard, especially since I've criticized it harshly in the past, bit here's the deal: DJ Wizard Cop is exactly the kind of guy who would let the game remain inactive just for kicks if he was mafia because he finds it sadly hilarious that lurking is such a strong scum strategy in MG Mafia. Ergo, DJ Wizard Cop is practically confirmed town in my eyes because he's trying to revive the game.

That leaves Doqtor Kirby, Droe and Terra as potential mafiosi. Doqtor Kirby is the most likely candidate. I would vote for him, but on the off chance that I am wrong that would let Droe and Terra quickhammer. Instead, I will PHANTOM VOTE: Doqtor Kirby.
