my sister gave birth to a daughter four months ago and i can tell you I am super proud af for being her uncle. It's a wonderful feeling, and whenever I see my niece it just makes me stunned with wonder as to what type of a person she's going to be when she grows up, how she changes both in appearance and personality, her interests, and everything else. it's almost like a fatherly instinct because im so close to her in the bloodline, and i can't even imagine how happy my sister and her husband must feel if i feel so jubilant.
so yes, it is a big deal.

Thanks dude, being an uncle sounds great, since I'm the youngest in the family I never got to hold anyone as a baby as my other siblings did to me, so my sister told me she wants me to hold the baby first, I think I'm going to burst into tears of joy when that happens lol.
