SSF a success? You must be s*** me right. That was the glitchiest f*** game I've ever played. Sure it was an interesting concept but the execution was absolutely f*** horrible. That's why when I saw SSF2 I thought, maybe he won't f*** it up now. But with the progress Cleod9 is making the game will probably never be finished. He's probably making another gay a** hoodie to sell in his shop instead of working on SSF2. So in conclusion f*** YOU! P.S: f*** yo' couch.

See you in Hell.
You know Greg's working on the game, he's just (hopefully) putting a lot into it. That being said, I am with you that the shop is less important than the game. In fact, without the game, the shop probably wouldn't exist. But I doubt he's even doing anything more with the shop right now.

Tiamoko does make good points, now I been a ghost on this forum for a while now. I seen a snail make better progress then Cleod9 has, its been more then a year now and I know he has collage and what not but come on now. People been able to get things done even in collage, if you don't have enough time give the game to someone else so they can finish it. The Shop, now I say this is just a waste, if you need money just put a PayPal Donate on here, I rather do that then buy something with your logo on it, if you put something other besides the same looking crap in the shop and put something with SSF2 in it I might be interested. These contest you be holding could be time put in to SSF2 and don't give me that s*** about how I need to take a break, you took numerous breaks and progress is slow as hell. Get off your lazy a** and get the new Demo ready.

He can't put ssf2-related things on the merchandise because it's all copyrighted.

Who the f*** do you think you are? Well, I already know the answer to that, but I don't think "moron" is a good way to define someone. I am in no ways a supporter of SSF2, but that pales to the comparisation of the stupidity of people like you. You waltz in here and tell Cleod to "get off his lazy a**", while he is going out of his way to create a game from scratch and just for fun, while he already has a packed personal schedule. Tell you what, get a book on coding 101, and use at most, 5% of your free time on it and the game. Let's see how long it takes you to create a fighting game that's the proportions SSF2 is building up to be. Oh, and go enroll in college, too. And don't give me that s*** about how you know a guy who knows a guy who made something while in college, nor any s*** lie about you having done a semester in college, because anyone with a basic high school education would know what a "cease & desist" letter is.

Slow your roll Mr. >8000 post, You obviously don't understand what I'm talking about. First I'm totally going to ignore the whole collage thing you said, because I can write a novel about my two years at KU. Second, I'm sick and tired of people starting to make a game, never reach 50% done, gets tired and cancels it. There are tons of people on here who would code for the game, I'm just asking why hasn't anyone started doing it? If so where are the results? And Third, I don't care what you say, really just don't care. Your not McLoed or anyone of importance as I can see.

bu-bah-BAHAHAHAHA So, instead of trying to prove anything, you're just going to push it aside? You could at LEAST describe what the life is like, slightly. How much time you get and such. He hasn't canceled it, so why would you assume he will? Plus there are plenty of games out there. Try Kongregate. He's like, the most important person on these for- oh, you're looking at it from an sff2-view. Then yeah, he's as much as nobody. He doesn't even care about THE GAME. But he does know about Greg, and what it's like for him, so you can't just ignore him.

I'm sure you could write a novel of your experiences at KU, but I don't think that a novel that ends with a dropout would be a good seller. Nor one that is a dream sequence. And true, next to a failed attempt to animate Rock Lee a long while back and a few incursions into the dev section to scare the crap out of that group, I've never really bothered with SSF2 directly, so I suppose I'm not of importance. But I know more of these forums than Cleod himself does. For example, I know that 99% of the forum population, myself included, couldn't code their way out of a paper bag. Heck, after Cleod, I think DT is the most experienced coder, then it's probably x2i and... Yeah, that'll be about it, the rest consists of script kiddies who think that because they can loop two frames, they're game developers. So even IF Cleod wasn't spending most of his time in the dev section working on the game, and he was planning to cancel/had cancelled it, he'd have to go pretty darn far to find a coder capable of finishing the job... Probably Runouw, but he's making his own game.

Its funny how you think I'm a dropout, anyways you answered my question; so not many coders here with enough experience. I can see how this can be trouble some. Still doesn't answer why he hasn't really asked for help, or the Shop but that can wait. Look I know I may sound offensive but I'm really not trying to be. Seeing games getting started and not finished breaks my heart. If McLeod needs money I say just put a PayPal Donate, if there are problems affecting production, announce them and don't have people take wild guesses.
