I own a computer with Windows XP on it, and I really don't have any other details than that.
Yesterday, when I tried to use the computer, it was frozen. I could move the cursor, but nothing else. I tried turning it off and turning it on again. In the middle of the Windows XP loading screen, the screen went black, and then started from the beginning of the startup until the Windows XP loading screen, where it would go black and start from the beginning, etc.
Does anyone have any idea whatsoever as to what is wrong with it?

This happened to me once on a different computer, the thing is that my screen was completely black, right after the HP screen. The only solution was to reload the computer. I was able to call up tech support and get a disc, but you might have to take it in and get it fixed, seeing how mine was provided by the school I attend.

You're stuck in a boot loop it sounds like. There could be multiple issues causing it. Search the web for "Windows XP Boot Loop" and see if that grabs you any results.

I Googled it, and mostly I got "Boot in safe mode" and "Disable rebooting on system error".
I can't boot in safe mode because it just keeps boot-looping. When I disabled rebooting when there's a system error, rather than re-rebooting, the computer gave a BSOD saying:
UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME
and
***STOP: 0x000000ED (0x8B2B7920, 0xC000009C, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
I'll keep looking for more solutions.
EDIT: Googling "unmountable boot volume" and the first result says "Fixing the dreaded 'Unmountable Boot Volume' error". That doesn't bode well...

I can't seem to find the installation disk.
My father says he's going to take it to a friend of his who supposedly will fix it.

Well, my computer got all fixed (except the speakers aren't working, but that's a problem for another day).
