Sora has decent approaches: good range in dash attack and fair, fairly good short hop with a decent approach nair, flowmotion mixups, Thunder and nspec, and dair is also not bad. Dash attack in particular is great at punishing moves: initial dash plus attack covers a large portion of the stage.

God how do you break through Naruto's clones with Sora? Strike Raid gets cancelled and puts him in eternal lag, jumping and rolling leaves you open to the clone popping out of the ground thing. Air approaches are almost impossible with the two flying clones. I was playing against a Naruto and got 4-stocked. He was at 200%, twice.

The flying clones thing only block aerial approaches if they do it after a double jump, so you can bait out that and then jump over clones. Generally in the Naruto matchup you'll get wrecked if you give him room, so just go into a berserker rage and try to never let him run away.

This Naruto I played only use the flying clones after a double jump high in the air. Naruto also has some decently quick attacks so it's not always easy going berserk. With my online lag it's even worse

Agreed, not saying it's easy because it isn't. After they use the clones after a DJ, you can get in before they can do it again. Let's say there's a clone mine on the ground between you and the Naruto. They DJ and dspec. What I'm saying is that as soon as you can, jump over the mine and after the flying clones. You should be able to get in before Naruto can reset. You still have to deal with the rest of his moves but that's your problem.

Yeah, I think it's a pretty tough matchup. I'll need to try the matchup more to get the hang of it.

His combo ability since he could link almost anything together and it would still be a combo. I don't like how opponents must be at like 200% to get knocked for any considerable distances though.

I played Sora like once, and I got an insane 100% combo by using flomotion across BF's lower platforms coupled with aerials XD so his combo game is great. If I would change one thing about Sora I would make his bair a single strong hit instead of a two hit move.

Love the new side special with all those flashy effects and whatnot, but would make it so the combos afterwards were a bit shorter. He just keeps going after one hit and I'm like "ok I get it I got hit". I know it may be like that in the official games but still.
His elemental attacks (or whatever they're called) seem a bit janky. Blizzard is just useless and Thundaga looks sluggish. Firaga is missed, rip.
Also what's the deal with his over 100% ledge attack???

I like how Sora has enough disjoint range to be safe in a lot of situations and have some safe attacks, but he still feels like rushdown. I really like how much the sword characters have been differentiated: Link and Ichigo wall out, Lloyd and Sora can do some fencing out but mostly need to get in, and Marth and Meta Knight are in between. I don't want to buff his kill power too much because then he'll be OP, but I'd appreciate an aerial kill move. Sora's air combos are amazing, but I feel like the only way to get a finisher off of them is a really lucky Thunder, fair or bair at 200+%, or going back down to the ground to usmash. I'd be fine with a usmash nerf if it meant that bair could become a good kill move (a la Ness, Pit, Ichigo, etc.: trade some startup for knockback). I like the idea of a single strike bair.

I like how Sora's Dsmash destroys projectiles and can reach a good bit below him for platforming. What I dislike about Sora is his Nspec. It does not travel very far, leaves Sora at a standstill, and is easily destroyed. Although it does set up Usmash easily

I don't know if this actually works on smart people, but my sideB wavedash into thunder had caught some people online off-guard. It has tons of startup though, both the thunder and sideB, so I don't think it could actually be used in lagless condition.
