I just prefer Toad over Bowser Jr.

I prefer either of them over Geno. Also Toad is still one of Peach's attacks so it's unlikely.

What if Toad becomes playable, that might throw you off the bat if you stick to Toad still as an attack.

I kind of expected the reveal to be tomorrow, but no complaints. Peach looks great.

You guys think we'll see another one at TGS next week? I'd be fine either way but it seems like a great time to drop one.

Also I agree with Geno in that if we've gotten all four Mario characters already there's probably a fifth one in the roster somewhere. My personal hope would be Paper Mario but realistically it's probably Bowser Jr.

Maybe we'll get a Mario newcomer tomorrow, since nromally we would get a reveal on Friday. Just a theory though.

Anyway, I think if Toad for some reason was chosen it'd be blue toad.

Toad is most likely not gonna be a playable character, since he'd be forced to be the red one, if not as a default costume, then as playing on the red team.

Bowser Jr. on the other hand is looking pretty possible, considering his appearance in more recent New Super Mario Bros. games and Dream Team.

Not really, if a Toad has to be used it got to be the red Toad, (Super Mario 3D World is not an excuse) and about that statement, the concept for the Toad special move has being weird ever since Melee, but using Toasworth, it is even more weirder and very unorthodox, I got to say I actually hate the whole concept as it limits Toad playable appearance, that considering the very abusive game Crusade is. Anyway Toad is very unlikely.

The moves of Peach are not final, as Sakurai stated, so we may see Toad.

Except that we've already seen Peach using the Toad move, and it's an important enough part of her known moveset that they probably won't remove it. I think he means either the regular melee moves are subject to change, like her crown attack, or they're still adding effects to her attacks, like Toad's spores or the impact hearts of her butt smash.
