What happened to me today: I learned the Alienware scam actually works!

I looked around the Internet and looked at different gaming pcs, I saw Alienware and liked it. Although I compared different systems, I guess I didn't just look deep enough.

I made a wrong decision and I acknowledge that, that doesn't mean I'm going to return my Alienware right away. I might use it for a couple of years and sell it.

Yimbo, if you care at all about not wasting your parents' money I would return the alienware. It's not too shameful to have had a lapse in judgement where you bought into the hype (the reason the scam works is because they spend so much on advertising, after all), but it is pretty shameful to be too proud to admit it. This is doubly true when you're spending someone else's money.
