Pug does a last minute maneuver, He Takes all his courage, and lets his demon take over. A constant electric flow is coming through the energy now, and Pug is transforming. His eyes lose there pupils, and he turns into pure energy, breaking the train in front of him in half as it comes along.

scratch that, he simply slips out of the energy and avoids the train (in demon form)

"See ya!" Nate taunted as he saw Pug far behind him, the distance rapidly widening.
"Looks like no free ride for you today!"

Pug's demon growled. He wouldn't lose like this.
YOU IDIOT, CATCH THE TRAIN! Pug shouts at his demon.
for once, the Demon obeys, and dashes toward the train.
And if you cant catch it, destroy it.
The demon smiled at that one.

Nate allowed himself a sigh of relief. That had been harder than he had anticipated. He chanced a glance back and realized, with horror, that Pug was gaining on the train.
What is this guy? He asked in awe.

Pugs left arm burst, replaced by lightning.

Nate blinked. Surely his mind was playing tricks on him. Aparently, Pug's arm had turned into electricity.
A petty trick. Nate thought to himself. It'll take more than that to beat me. Nate leapt from the train, landing in Pug's path and shooting out a shockwave of energy.
Atleast I've stopped him from taking a free ride. He thought.

Pug gets hit, but is hurt mildly. He continues dashing at the train.

Nate saw Pug take the hit and keep going, but he didn't seem to be headed toward him. His attnetion was on the train! Nate reacts quickly, creating a wall of energy to try to slow Pug down.

The demon smashed through the wall, but got hurt badly in the process. It kept running.

Nate was becoming disconcerted. This... thing wasn't slowing down at all. He had to resort to drastic measures to save the people on the tran. He sent several shafts of energy straight at Pug from all directions.

Pug, who finally found his voice, said "The only reason I did this was to prevent being smashed by another train, it was the only way to save myself." The demon gets the shards stuck in him, and begins leaking energy. The energy dissolves into him, leaving cracks where they once were. It slows down the tiniest bit, but keeps running. "Don't be fooled by whats happening, this is all truly painful." Pug says.

OOC: Can I hear Pug, or is he just trying to talk, but can't due to being controlled by the demon?

Nate was astounded. Absolutely astounded. Not only had Pug survived all of his attacks, he had kept on trucking. There was something different about him, a primitive savagery that was dictating his actions. For the briefest of moments, he wondered if what was happening was really his fault. Then he heard Pug speak. He was apparently trying to justify his actions, but if all he really wanted to do was save himself, why was he still going berserk?
Maybe he doesn't have a choice. Nate thought grimly. Nate winced as he heard Pug say that it really did hurt. That's when Nate was struck with a pitiful sympathy for Pug. He made up his mind to find a way to stop Pug without hurting him. Mustering up all of his courage, Nate surrounded Pug with a barrier of sheer energy, but no ordinary barrier. No, this one was special. If Pug so much as came into contact with it, the molecules would move in such a pattern that the vibration would cause a paralyzing shockwave of noise to massacre the inside of the sphere. It would throw off his concentration without permanently affecting him.

The demon bashes the wall, but realizes it was a bad idea. It gets destroyed, a bunch of lightning going out in all direction, dissolving. Pug turns back to normal, and collapses on the train tracks. "I... Hate that... Demon." He mumbles, clawing his way to safety.
