Starting off this discussion, I want to inform you that the information I'm relaying is not completely biased, and many players and YouTubers agree with it.

I see the term overpowered used a lot in character discussion forums, duels and battles, but what does overpowered really mean? Well, depending on the source, you'll get tons of different answers, but among professional gaming, it's usually defined as "Overpowered- the used has a disproportionate advantage over the meta-game in which the skill required is lower than the event." Their pros basically outweigh their cons unreasonably much so compared to other users/characters.

Goku is able to spam ki blasts, what character has recovery from projectile spam? I can't think of any, it CAN'T be punished the way top players use it. It can be reflected, and its priority is low, so you can FTilt them. I tried that, guess what? End of Century doesn't care what your ftilt and perfect shield thinks.If you get hit by the first Ki Blast, you can buffer into a Powershield for the second hit automatically.
His dair game has splash reaching the ground, tons of priority, it's speed and hit box are ridiculous compared to any other dairs.
Link's dair, sure it's more of a meteor mash, or a spike (I can't remember)It isnt. Its powerful as hell, but itdoesnt spike you at all. ONly in Smash 4. His teleport kicks. Black mages doesn't attack, why should Gokus? They're both teleporting, and I've NEVER seen Goku "kick transmission" in the anime or manga. Why does everything has to be the exact same as in the Anime? Mario can throw his fireballs without a Fire Flower. Funny, ignore what you know is broken.How is having something different from the Anime broken? BM not making damage makes sense, as Warp does no damage in FF as well, referring to your logic. I still dont get what makes the kick in the Teleport broken.

Ichigo's getsuga pushing away, his invincibility in which he can't be touched with his up special and his flash step side special.Again, Powershield/Reflect his projectile. His Side B is like his only viable approach option. His projectile isn't the problem, as you stated, his only viable approach, in your opinion, is a broken side special. LOL.I still dont think its broken. You could say Fox´s Nair is broken because it is his best approach option and one of the best in the game as well. Doesnt make sense. And if you read it, you can still shield it and then punish/run away.
It out prioritizes Fox even though he's holding a sword, Fox should be able to out speed him.Priority doesnt have anything to do with speed. Priority is weird in this demo to say the least, so complaining about that wont help at all. Inb4 Falco isn't as fast, so there's a suggestion. Naruto. Just Naruto. I can't even come to term with what I've seen every Naruto player do with him. His grab does ridiculous damage and it doesn't in the anime, manga or Naruto Storm series. He isn't a grapple character, so why should he be able to do about 20% + with a grab?Blame the guys who play Naruto, not Naruto himself. And here is the point again that Naruto has to be a carbon copy of Anime/Manga/whatever. No, that's like saying blame anyone who uses a god character. No. Blame the character and the developers. The character is there. Let Fox be a carbon copy of himself, let him have a special attack that has a jet bombing run from his team mates. Derp, use some logic and stop trying to defend these broken characters, these sorry excuses.If you think that Narutos grab is insane, think of a certain duo from other Smash Games. That is insane. And if you know that he is going to grab you, just do something against it. You cant ignore your opponents moves and then say that hes broken.

ALL 3 characters possess unreasonable amount of recovery time compared to the amount of offensive and defensive power that they hold. One last thing: There is a thread called "Top 5 characters". Goku and Ichigo are not even considered there, and Naruto only once, based mainly on online experience.



First off, it's unreasonable that they're even here, if you want them to be here, you might as well allow other popular fan bases to have characters as well. Kirito, Heathcliff and Agil from Sword Art Online maybe?
