Dawn raised her head off of the her booth's table looking at the commotion. "What a strange creature" she said quietly "It kind of looks like a growlithe but I know that it isn't."

Kevin smiles and continues walking looking for a mission to do.

Hailey puts on the device. “Better!”

“Before you go,” Todd says to Kevin, “Why were you running?”

Kevin stops.
"Well, I was kind of looking for a mission."
"Or something to do.".

“A mission? A you a mar… merci…?” Hailey asks.

“Mercenary,” Todd says.

"A... dog?"
"I'm not sure how to go about this..."
"Are you perhaps from another world... or maybe Time?"

He thought this to himself... then looked directly at Todd.

"I had a friend once, Alexander. He said he was a human... something about being from another world, a separate timeline where Abusora, and the three others... those of whom their names I will not speak... never caused the Human apocalypse."

"Did you come from another world...?"

Todd and Hailey look at each-other, then at Asayake.

“Yes, we do, but…” Todd says.

“…Alexander…?” Hailey asks.

“We know someone named Alexander, but… what type of pokémon was this friend of yours?” Todd asks.

"You look troubled."

"He was an Eevee..."
"He died several years ago and was buried with his old partner Lane."

"It was rumored that he has many lives. It is said that every time he dies, he is reincarnated to help beings in different worlds."

"At least that is what Master Ninetails had to say about him."

"Hmm..You could say that." He says.
"So who are you?"

“Alexander!” Todd and Hailey say in unison.

“We need to contact Xion!” Todd says.

“On it!” Hailey says. She turns a dial and speaks into the device she holds. “Geoff, Geoff, we need to talk to Xion!”

“I guess they didn’t make this to span dimensions,” Todd says. He turns to Asayake. “What is this human apocalypse? And master ninetales?”

"Master Ninetails was a great being, who many many years ago, when humans and pokemon coexisted, cursed a single man, who pulled one of it's tails.
Angered, it cast upon him a curse that would surely kill him, however, his partner gardevoir jumped in the way, and gave her life to protect him... the human ran away from the ninetails in fear of what would happen to him, but instead it did not give chase. Instead it invoked another curse, it stated that one day, in the future, that human would be reborn as a pokemon, and when it was reborn, it would mark the beginning of the end of the world.

Another was chosen by Ninetails, only a human child at the time, Alexander, he was chosen for his bravery and kindess, to be the one who would restore balance to the world and halt the cataclysm, that would have happened because of Master Ninetails. He lives to this day if you wish to speak with him.

This is known as the Ninetails Legend.

As for the apocalypse of Humans...

Once upon a time, long ago, Humans and Pokemon lived harmoniously on this world.
However, four pokemon hated the humans, four of great destructive power.
One of them was known as Abusora, a pokemon that caused a disaster with every footstep.
Together, they used their powers to Anhiliate the human race, but before they could finish, four brave pokemon, stood against this evil.
Master Ninetails, My Great Grandfather, Mew, and one known as Lucario.

They combated the evil and allowed a small group of humans to be saved.
Now I do not know if they flourished, or all died off."

"There are still humans" said Dawn absently "I still feel their presence, as to where they live, I do not know"

“Wow…” Hailey says.

“I wonder if it’s the same Alexander,” Todd says.

“Maybe mister ninetales will know!” Hailey says.

"Ninetails, usually keeps to himself" stated Dawn.
