For those of you wondering when the smash ball will return in SSF2, understand that we want to make sure everything works properly before we update. Right now we are aiming to update v0.9 with the smash ball and other minor fixes this upcoming Monday (Feb. 4th). The wait will only be a little while longer, please bear with us!
----------------------------- In other news, I'd like to announce that Evo 2013 (the largest fighting game tournament series in the world) is holding a competition to decide their eighth and final game in their lineup. Their current lineup is missing one thing, and that's Super Smash Bros.! Evo is accepting donations for Breast Cancer research to decide what final game will be added to their lineup (whatever game gets the most donations wins). Currently support Super Smash Bros. Melee is on the rise and stands a good chance at getting in, meaning it's a big chance to boost the revival of the SSB competitive scene (and hopefully allowing more opportunities for SSF2 to gain attention for these sorts of events as with Apex  ). In order for Melee to win, it has to receive more donations to than the other games being voted on. The longer PASBR stays away from the competitive scene the better Personally I'd prefer Skullgirls win over Smash, because I dislike the competitive Smash community But I have no money to donate so it doesn't matter
