Not really how it works. See, there are three levels of supers. Level one supers, for the most part, are simple, low-range attacks (Kratos's is a sword slash, Sweet Tooth's is a kick), level two supers have a bit more range probably, while level three supers are Smash Ball level full-screen "lazors." Also, it seems "special" moves give more meter than "normal" moves (quotation marks because I'm using Smash Bros. terminology and this game has three attack buttons instead of two).

So technically it should be "i hit u 9 time then sparklez," although you would more likely be KO'd a few times before the "sparklez" fly.

But yeah, while I'm not sure I like the system yet, I don't really hate it, I think it's interesting, and I think I can get used to it.

Meaning that every character that appears here may appear in the game.

This way of KOing foes actually remind me of the battle system from dissidia, but this game doesn't have the crazy physics, and complicated rpg mechanics to back it up, so I'd imagine it won't be so good.

In an interview of GT I believe the Director or something confirmed that 3rd party characters would be in it, or are at least planning to be used.

I read an article that was actually posted in this thread stating the exact opposite from one of the staff members. (Don't remember which one)

It would be cool to see Dante from Devil May Cry, since the series was pretty much entirely on Sony Consoles. He'd be third party, but he'd fit this game well seeing as how he has a lot of moveset ideas to draw from.

I think I read somewhere that third party characters needed to have a large impact on Sony's development (as a series, not the individual character) so with that alone I think Dante has good chances seeing as DMC was a HUGE PS2 series and Devil May Cry 4 was one of the first PS3 games made, IIRC.

I guess this means we can also expect to see Crash and Spyro. Dante I'm not so sure about but Crash and Spyro were basically the Playstation's Mario and Zelda up until 2002.

Basically, as well as Cloud Strife if Square Enix gives the okay.

Either way I'm just hoping Crash and Spyro will be in their PS1 era forms instead of their recent ones. Now I'm not a huge fan of them, but there's been noticeable changes.

As much as i hate to admit it, the recent Crash would actually be a better fit for this type of game since that iteration of Crash actually uses hand to hand combat moves.

I think it's probably the opposite - While most would prefer Cloud, I think we'll probably get Lightning. After all, if Sony liked money, we'd have gotten a FFVII remake by now. d:

And Chrono Trigger's never even been on a Sony console. Yeah, they want third party characters, but they want ones like Snake, Crash and Spyro. You know, characters somewhat iconic to Sony, despite not being Sony.
