I was a little nervous upon first playing him, but now I'm 100% convinced that this remake is the best thing that ever happened to him
Moveset feels so much smoother and coherent now, and little things such as having that landing SFX really give him his unique identity

Kinda wish the raspberry taunt made a return, but oh well. Definitely one of my favorites in Beta

The ammount of tools MM has makes me believe the character will be very hard to master, but it's looking like it has a lot of potential.

Does MM really need super armor on his up-spec? The way it currently is, it just seems kind of dumb. By itself, his recovery isn't that bad, and, based on the MMs I've played against, you can basically recover high with him and then use water wave + n-air to cover his landing. It's also far from being the most vulnerable recovery. However, the real reason it annoys me is how MM players can apply it in combat. It's so corny combo-ing an MM player, and suddenly they cheese their way out of it with up-spec. What makes even worse is that you can cancel the move into an aerial. This led to many situations where I'd be combo-ing MM, but suddenly MM up-specs and punishes with a n-air, b-air, etc... Also, I still personally feel like crash bomb applies to much pressure. I don't think MM should be able to detonate it any time he wants.

This character is genuinely amazing. He has one of the best neutrals in the game, his zoning tools are incredible, with lemons being really effective mid-range zoning tools, Crash Bomber being a free combo extender/finisher/breaker, and Water Wave acting as a "carpet flame".

Furthermore, his amazing normals have generally been left untouched, his FTilt, Fair, Bair and Dair are all still amazing, his new Up and Down tilt are amazing, his new Nair is stupid good and his recovery is amazing.

This guy is definitely my new main.

I'm loving Mega Man quite a lot, but I kinda wanna ask something that feels kinda odd.

Why does a character with so many ways to confirm into grab, has one of the strongest throws in the game?

Like, we're talking a super strong BThrow on a character that has confirms into grab, and it's not even the main focus of it. It feels like it's too much, and I don't think nerfing his other tools is the right way. I wouldn't mind it that much if it killed like, 15-25% later, but right now it feels too much :chibirobo:

I remember that I was playing with random characters for fun when I got :lloyd: , and I swear Mega Man took a full side special with his super armor. He didn't even flinch, he took all of that Tempest.

It's okay if it had super armor in the beginning, but this happened about halfway through its ascent. :chibirobo:
