New voice clips are awesome, Naruto himself is a really solid character.

Best used with hit-and-run tactics.
Extremely useful specials.
Fast attacks.
Fast movement.
Lotsa KO options.
High-Top tier matterial.

His main weaknesses include: short range, bad recovery, light-midweight, and vulnerability to juggles (floaty).

Overall, I like Naruto, though he could be changed in a few areas.

It was necessary for Rasengan, since both the voice and sound effect for charging were the same file. So we added a couple more from the game as well so they wouldn't seem out of place.

i don't really agree with those weaknesses tbh.
-naruto has pretty solid range. his standard attacks aren't the furthest reaching moves in the game but they're okay for a non weapon wielding character, and your specials have a LOT of range.
-his recovery isn't that bad, you have a lot of control over it because you can stop your upB movement, and it's pretty safe because of the side b and down b options.
-he's not really vulnerable to juggles, he's too light to get caught for long, and once he gets hit high enough he can just move off stage. down b and up b both actually offer interesting anti juggle options.

I haven't tried Naruto much, but I've noticed that his sounds changed. I like them better now.

All of the new voice clips were ripped straight from Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst. Took a lot of work to get them, probably more than it was worth lol


Oh my gosh, I've been trying to get those voice clips for a project I've been working on for months! Is there anyway you could lead me on the right track towards ripping those sound files? I would greatly appreciate it!

It's as solid as Mario's :eew: All this specials are decent in range, all work as projectiles though (when I ment short range in my other post, I was refering to his standard moveset).
While you have alot of control, that doesn't exactly help how much distance it gains. He has pretty decent airspeed, but his freefall speed doesn't exactly compliment it. Considering all the new semi-spike moves everyone has nowadays, he won't be coming back unless hit vertically.
Maybe, but he doesn't have alot of priority below him besides his upb (dair is pretty much countered by every juggling move ever). While they are useful, they really don't do the job when facing a juggling monster (Ichigo, Marth, Tails, ect).

Suggestion: Make Naruto's clones cause 1% self damage per clone that he summons.
Since Naruto's clones are actual copies of himself, it would be justifiable to say that it drains some of his energy when he uses them.
If this is not the place for suggestions, link me, and I'll post this there. (I searched)
