hm. hm.i went to work today. something froze around a pipe and someone had to get rid of the ice to put the gas into it but nobody wanted to try to chip at the ice in fear of breaking the pipe which would have been crazy expensive i'd rather lose my job than pay for the repairs of that pipe

Because you have a history of treating this community like they aren't a bunch of real people. We're a community like any other, being a forum doesn't devalue that. If you acted like a human being and didn't focus so intently on being on either side of the extreme (either incredibly rude or suffocatingly nice to try and balance it out) I feel that over time people would warm up. But you can't sit here and act surprised at this backlash you're getting. Human being. Be yourself. Don't take things so seriously.
