It's not that social media is necessarily bad, it's just that since facebook and twitter are the most popular (might as well be the only) social networking sites, then pretty much each website has the "follow us on twitter", "like us on facebook", etc. spiel, and I'm just getting tired of seeing them. Mcleodgaming did not have it, and that in my humble opinion, made the site feel more personal, and meaningful. (Meaningful, as in, that's where the stuff happened, instead of on the social networking sites) Also, this:

what makes being a problem, both facebook and twitter are quite popular and the more you say "not taking character requests." people never listen to you.

Uh... this is the first time I've ever expressed my dislike for Twitter. I use Facebook, it's just Twitter that I can't stand. Thank the gods for RSS, though. You can use it to subscribe to anything, even Twitter. But yeah, I will never get a Twitter account, no offense to those of you who do use Twitter.  _________________

The point is, you didn't have to have a huge block of text expressing your hate for Twitter. These websites can and will give a rather sizable boost to MG's and SSF2's popularity.
But I digress.

We already get hundreds of those. This won't change anything. On a more positive note, I'm glad to hear about the Fullscreen improvement tweets. I play in FS all the time, and I'm always stuck with crap computers.
