Yoshi is plan awsome, just wish he could dash faster.

why does his dair have so much end lag? you can easily be punished for landing one

I dunno, probs more of a high risk/high reward move now. You gotta time it properly for good damage and followups.

It does tons of damage, if it comboed into anything it would literally be the only attack you would ever use and combos would deteriorate into dair -> ftilt -> dair etc. Would be poo

I think Yoshi is top 3 not including bugs, so I don't think buffs are a good idea.

Yeah, but look at Ice Climbers.

I think Yoshi's fine against pretty much everyone. He doesn't have a matchup nearly as bad as ICs against peach. Also, ICs have more bad matchups than just that one.

He's a super solid character with really strong movement and a high skill ceiling.

Ice Climber's have several bad MU, even ignoring the hard counter Peach. Then, if Fox was hard countered by Kirby (somehow) it wouldn't make Fox bad.

I know that, just don't think he's top.

TSON has been saying that Yoshi is godlike for like years now lol. He's really fun to play as and I can see Yoshi placing high in tournaments.

And my favourite SSF2 combo of all time is Egg roll->edge cancel->DJ fair. It works. It might not kill if they have enough presence of mind to meteor cancel and not jump into the fair, and it doesn't work until higher percents (the location of the hit also has to be really close to the edge to maximize the chance of hitting them during hitstun).
