lol you probs have to get really creative. The windbox back to ledge might gimp a lot of recoveries :/ Other than that, the vanish isn't nearly as strong as it use to be so yeah not much use. But finding cool ways to get to ledge is pretty neat. Fox shining off ledge to instant firefox looks cool but has no use and i still do it anyways lol :]

gfy pls
The firefox thing you mentioned is good for edgeguarding, since you can shinestall out their recovery, if they go high you bair if not you grab ledge.
edit: nvm, I was able to perform it on Yoshi's by using a jump in the initial dash, something I hadn't tried before. This timing is ridiculously precise.

After months of research, considering every possible thing that exists... I finally did it. I found something that makes Chain a bit more viable. (Ok it was a random find but this story sounds cooler imo)
Chain apparently beats Narutos Clones (minus the mine due to hitboxes). Please tell me this is new

Probably not and it's useful for preventing certain characters from approaching Sheik.

Wait it out? Their is no timer on the attack, she can do it how long she wants.

he meant when she stops swinging it and decides to put the chain away. the move has end lag when she puts the chain away

OMG Tac, I know what he was talking about. God damn you are dense. I know she has end lag on the move, but she can keep it out as long as she wants to prevent certain characters from approaching. That's why I said " Wait it out? Their is no timer on the attack, she can do it how long she wants."

sheik is way more vulnerable from behind than in front when she does it though, so I don't think that's the best course of action lol they can also time an attack to hit her in the front when the chain is behind her... although a bit specific on timing. you're treating the move like it's an invincible force that can't be stopped lmao

I don't think he ever meant it to be serious, he was just excited he figured it out. lol You act like he was really freaking out over it or something My god is this what it's like in every character thread he's in? xD

@Tac I didn't act like it was invincible. I was talking about how it could stop some opponents approach, I did say nor imply that it was unstoppable.
@Huey OMG is this guy really talking?
Jay acted like that and you can see that in his other post. He looked like he was freaking out.
The second statement could be aimed at me or towards Tac.

lol I know Niayre isn't actually calling me dense (unless he is, then it doesn't bother me tbh)
but anyway, Niayre you are saying that the move (side-b, chain) can be held forever, which is true. you're using it in argument with someone saying that the move can be punished when the other player drops the chain and decides to stop using the side-B move. reading this, it can be easily interpreted that you are saying that the other player doesn't have to drop the chain and can just do it forever and probably win a game doing it. enter: me (hai guys) I come in and explain what Lite2Key was saying (which you may or may not have understood, idk, idc) you call me dense (lol nice) and say what you said again. I then present 2 (3 if you count Lite2Key's) different ways Sheik's side-B, Chain, can be punished, therefore making your statement about the move being irrelevant and nothing more than a tiny fact about the move's properties. and now here I am trying to tell you that it doesn't matter if the move can be held forever, it can still be easily punished.

Okay you didn't explain this until your second post though Tac and I didn't respond to that one. When have I ever called you dense and meant it? I was getting at that it can prevent certain characters from approaching, but I knew it could be punished. What Lite said was to wait it out, but I told him that the chain could be used indefinitely. You then come in and try to say the end lag could be punished which you shouldn't have said, but gone on to talk about your second post. Also I just came from pooping so I feel good.

Or you can just attack the chain and let the magic of disjointed hurtboxes work... Chain makes Sheik a HUGE target to hit actually.
