Skyrim. Pros and Cons.
Image
Mine :

Pros:
Open, beautiful world with actual grass.
Camera settings are amazing.
So many side quests. So many.
Main quest is very interesting
Imperials or Stormcloaks Story. (all hail ulfric!)
Dragons. That's it. Dragons
You can fly the dragons.
Many spells.

Cons:
Buggier than a cow's dung.
All characters are lifeless, Male NPC's having 1 of 5 voices 3 human, 1 kajiit 2 argonian.
Same goes for women.
Long loading screens. (Consoles)
Many people trying to kill you after an accidentendal hit.
After the war story line, the camps have all the soldiers, and you can freely kill them, but the legate remains alive.
Important NPC's who cant die. When they have no importance.

Thoughts?

Skyrim is pretty bad
The overworld is boring, stand at the top of a mountain and you can see maybe 5 colors in any given direction
Not a single one of the quest lines were good. You advance way too quickly in all of the guilds. You do like 3 missions for the companions and they let you in to their super secret club that none of the other companions know about. You become the listener like instantly in the dark brotherhood.
The combat is still really clunky, they just slowed it down and gave weapons more damage. If you're a stealth character you can one shot pretty much everything including dragons.
No major/minor skills tanks replayability. Why would I go back to do a a mage run when I can just level magic whenever?
There is literally no reason to forge your own stuff when it's really easy to just find loot that's better.

Weren't the other games about having melee attacks actually drain stamina so you actually had to time attacks instead of flailing everything to death?

the writing is also horrid, look at the villains from the previous games (Mankor Cameron, Dagoth-ur) and they actually are believable villains with motives
alduin is just hurr i am a dragon

Lol, both of you are right on this.
The soundtrack was OP tho. Only thing that kept me playing was that and the Dark Brotherhood. I liked the turn of events. When I finished, I played the story, the war storyline, a few side missions, and to this day I haven't touched it. Sittin in dust in my attic. :/ Maybe I should play again and reevaluate?

Morrowind's OST is a thousand times better than Skyrim's imo.

Also Oblivion's DB questline is one of my favorites in the whole series while Skyrim's was a huge letdown when I was expecting it to be as good as in the previous game.

the only good questlines i liked in skyrim were the Dawnguard ones and the Dragonborn ones

probably because one was with cool crossbows and the other was made just to reference Morrowind

they're all straight lines though
they may have nice visuals but it's not like morrowind which awards exploration (better than Daggerfalls dungeons that randomly degenerate an exit)
