Well, I'm not exactly talking color...
The G&W sprites have the thin lining, and while they may not exactly MOVE the same, just take a bit of a look. Also, I see now how the guy who did the Pac-Man leak got his character art. |

Although it creeps me out, you did a pretty good job as far as I can tell. The right side of his face seems a little odd to me though. Maybe it's the tight spacing of those black dots (Whiskers?)

I think "Bubsy Goes Wrong!" would have fitted better but great pixelart btw.

Although the Ice Climbers look decent, I feel like your biggest problem is, is that your lineart is usually pretty unsmooth on these bigger sprites. Maybe shifting your focus to learning new lineart and shading techniques might be good for you.
