3D is taking over the electronic world
PS3 and DS is already gonna get 3D, what's your opinion on this?

I don't see how that's a bad thing.

I actualy don't see the pont of 3d, it's only going to cost us more money,
games will take even longer to get a release, and gameplay will go downwards as usual.
It's just a money wasting gimmick that nobody but the casuals care about, i want some good games k? not some crappy boring BS game that uses motion controls, or STUNNING graphics for which i have to pay 40 extra bucks for.

Stop being one of those people who aren't accepting new things because they see other people do it.
You know full-well the benefits that 3D is going to have on graphics, and gameplay. Nintendo is being very intuitive, as usual. There is no reason Gamplay is going to go downwards with this, that's nonsense.

well, although you are right i supose,
it's just that in my experience games have really gotten worse,
I've never really liked wii games except for One Piece Unlimited cruise.. oh and Brawl ofcourse.

Meh, there are cheap ways to fool ourselves in to seeing depth so I don't really care.

The only thing that would make it more expensive is by actualy making the glasses work with the movies/games

I'm really, really hoping they've found some way to play video and images on an otherwise see-through screen. This way we could have like, 4 screens layered over top of each other for a nice 3D effect.

Yeah, it would look rather cool, and we won't have to wear any glasses that way.

The fact that it would take up memory could be used as an argument to say that game play will drop, with games being significantly shorter

Did you see my post about how this could be done? If that's how it's done, it won't take up that much extra memory. Sure it'll be bigger, but only slightly.

Blu-ray might help with that kind of issue. O:
