There is a mechanic in fire emblem called "rescue" that allows one unit to carry a second of a equal(?) or lesser weight class. I'm foggy on how it works exactly because it's for scrubs, but I think it effectively removes the rescued unit during the duration of the rescue while halving the movespeed, and maybe other stats of the rescuer. Mounted units either didn't receive the movement penalty or could gain a skill to ignore it I think.

How that does or does not translate to SoA is up to Kiki.

Yup! Rescuing will be available for units with mounts, but their speed and movement capacity is decreased.

Please do! I for one would really like to continue, even if it's only until we finish the current combat or form the party.

I'm not sure if the last line is a joke but if you ever need help with streamlining rolling software my offer to program it still stands.

I may take you up on that offer...the system was getting a bit too complex for excel and I was trying to make the system more efficient overall. lol

Yep, just became very busy in November; most of the time I can dedicate to programming has been going to gamedev.
