My God you have way too much time on your hands, I gotta commend you for this. Anyways, you're right about people posting the same lists with some alterations; I believe that's pretty much why Luffy takes the top spot. I think this will become more and more prominent as the pages go by as many of the users who speculated back then don't do it as much nowadays, and when I look back at the more recent pages all the major speculations are by only a certain few people. Also who was that one Sandbag speculator back then, that guy's gonna go crazy if he finds out he was right. _________________

I'm curious as to whether the position of the locked character spots, has anything to do with who the characters could potentially be.
Then again, people were saying the same thing last year. I think the locked character spot was near Kirby & Meta Knight, so people thought it was King Dedede (it was the black stick guy thing). However, the way these are positioned... Hmm. The bottom one will most likely be a third-party. I'm also assuming that this will be a pretty big addition since it's worth the build up to the final day of Smash Con. The thing that gets me is the position of this locked spot. It's between Pac-Man and Lloyd. Does this mean will be getting a new Namco rep? If so, then who could it be? Some guy from Tekken, Klonoa, Nightmare??? Not going to lie, I wouldn't really care if it's the first or second option, but holy crap baskets. If it's Nightmare then that would be extremely hype (and unexpected). As for the other two slots, I'm hoping one is a completely new character. However, I get the feeling that these two could simply be veterans. Maybe it will be a really unexpected Veteran like Shulk or Wii Fit, but... I see them being more obvious picks like Olimar, Ice Climbers, etc... Especially since all the new NINTENDO characters are group together (Isaac and Chibi). Or... Maybe I'm looking way to into this and the devs. could completely blow our minds, rearrange the portraits at a later date, and simply have put the locked symbols near the random select for aesthetics. _________________ .png) |

Even though Luffy is my most wanted newcomer, there are other characters who I want to see in the game like Andy & Lip. If either one of those three gets revealed this weekend, I will be shocked!
