Just got done with my first match. Lost, but it was pretty tight matched! I am definitely enjoying the level of play in this tournament, best of luck to all players.

I'll give 2-3 days for winner's round 2. Please finish ASAP so the loser's bracket people can play their matches.

When you make a results post, you should also include how many wins against humans each player had. A lot of players were given free wins because their opponent wasn't there, and it would be nice to know if someone played no matches until winner's finals lol (example).

I want a rule that removes a player from the tournament if (s)he doesn't comment in the discussion page at least once every two days.

that's kinda arbitrary, honestly a lot of people can't be on the forums every day or play, why punish people who are limited by things outside of their control if they are making the effort otherwise?

I can see where your coming from. But I think a lot of people aren't making the effort, it slips into the back of your mind and your mind and your not thinking about it. People always have some time (albeit it can be very very little) where they could at least make the effort to update people they made plans with. It's saddening to run an event where XX people are expected and only a fraction show up with no word from the majority, it shows a lack of care and concern. (This is coming from someone who's ran/co-ran events.) This kind of event is also catering to people with a tight schedule by allowing people to make their own times to play and I know for a fact there was at least one time in this past week or two that they could've scheduled 30 minutes to play an opponent. Most aren't even getting contacted, no one is saying "Sorry my schedule is absolutely hectic right now and I don't know when I'll have a free moment, (I'll have to forfeit) / (I'll contact you when I'm free or have holes in schedule.)" Some people didn't care enough to cancel and the others probably just forgot. It aggravating because it slows down and can kill a tournament like this since even active participants care about it less and less as time goes on. That's my slightly aggravated two cents.
