They do though. I don't really care that the guitar is new and the game play will be slightly different, repeats are boring. It's like call of duty putting in a map that was in a previous call of duty that everyone liked. Sure it's good, but could they not just use a new track that people like? Especially a band like the Rolling Stones, whose discography is full of really great songs yet they've used the same one like three times. Could they not use Gimme Shelter, Sympathy for the Devil, Street Fighting Man, Satisfaction, etc.? Maybe it's more because they're my favorite band but using Paint It Black again is just seriously boring.

Paint It Black's a good song and it works well in the context of a guitar game; I can't be upset about them using songs that fit those descriptions

Oh lol. I didn't play GH5 and I guess I just forgot about Gimme Shelter but the example songs weren't really my point anyway. There's still a lot more songs they could use so it's disappointing that they would just fall back on one used before.

I am honest to god excited for Got the Time, I've been wanting that one in a plastic guitar game for years now. Much, much better picks as a whole than last week based on that one alone

edit: having listened to the songs, there's a lot of s*** radio metal[core] in this list too. I won't pretend I'm not disappointed as dick about that, but hopefully we'll get more stuff like Got the Time in the future, and less '10s songs from bands that peaked in the '90s
