i like the idea of seeing sceptile in the game

Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, and some other Pokemon (Sceptile, Meloetta, or Zorark) are all we need.

I don't think he'll make the cut, considering everyone despised him in Brawl for stealing Mewtwo's place.

I didn't even like the mewtwo dlc lucario is vastly better imo, mewtwo suks.

Good lord, why does everyone hate Lucario just for this?
Mewtwo sucked in Melee and we all know that. Just because Lucario shares one move with him makes everyone believe he replaced him. I don't remembe anyone playing with mewtwo until Lucario got in Brawl to "steal his place". We only apreciatte things when they're gone, right? Back then, almost nobody played with the Ice Climbers until both were cut in Smash 4. This is just the same story with him except that it's already fixed.
I don't want to sound deep or edgy because I'm none of that.
So, I'm still hoping for Lucario to make the cut, mostly because I'd rather have some region variety instead of having pure Kanto Pokemon characters.

i don't see a potencial moveset for zoroak, and meloeta don't have a huge fandon

I feel like Pokémon is definitely getting another rep or 2. Maybe the Devs planned ahead like Sakurai and planned to have a 6th gen Pokémon in when they finalized the roster, X and Y was announced around the time they re-worked the roster. Bit this is highly unlikely. My speculation is Tyranitar, Sceptile, Gengar, Blaziken, Zoroark or Scizor. Mewtwo or Lucario will be the 4th rep.
