I'm trying to not get Wrath of the Lamb until I get Golden God in the vanilla game, which so far requires me beating the final boss with ??? or dying 100 times, which I assume will come first.


That, or I'll get it when it's on sale.

Well actually I got up to Isaac with ??? so.... yeah
Honestly eve and maggie are both worse characters than him, Maggie not by much but Eve is by a pretty large margin

Okay, how does ??? have advantages over other characters.

All he has is... s***.

I could see Isaac, D6, Cain, Pills, Eve, well she does have a cushion if you f*** up or could be on purpose, etc.

??? has great stats and great synergy with certain items. The stats are the important thing though. Once you get good enough that you're not taking random damage all over the place in early levels he improves a lot.

Eve has s*** stats and two decidedly mediocre items.

(As an edit to that samson is probably around ???'s level. Also I said eve isn't terrible or anything, scratch that she's terrible.)
