I'm loathe to talk about numbers because they're not usually a good way to make decisions, but I'd like to clear up what appears to be a misconception.

Think of a mislynch as a life in a game. We have two lives. We don't particularly want to lose the first one, but it's there as a buffer if we make a mistake and end up needing it.

We could literally ask 194 to give us two random numbers, lynch the people on the player list who correspond to those numbers, and we would win 60% of the time.
In fact, we could ask 194 to give us two random numbers, let the people who correspond to those numbers chose who to lynch, and we would still win 53% of the time.
We shouldn't try to mislynch, of course, but if we were playing purely by the numbers, a random lynch might actually be the optimal play considering how high this setup's scum winrate is (68.75%) when the game is played normally.

Please don't assume things and state them as fact. We need all the truth we can get.

Anyway, my reads aren't currently well-formed as I'm currently keeping back right now not being liberal with reads, but my current read consists of kb scum and lightning cool.

I have my reasons for keeping the vote. It's not designed to be there as a "I expect everyone to go and question him". I considered thinking about leads, realised I had something to capitalise off for a potential lead (namely that quote), and voted to act as a pressure tool.

I've reached my judgement regarding Lightning anyway, as well as being aware of that vote leading into a potential bandwagon, but whatever.

Unvote: Lightning. I'm going to keep a solid watch on this next day, but my best guess is that KB's vote will probably escalate into a lynch for the sake of avoiding the random lynch for another player. Considering that other players are seemingly picking him up as scum, I'm going to Vote: the leader of the bunch because the bandwagoning is so obvious that it hurts.

I was hoping for a "No" so I could discern whether his folly is truly the obvious mafia mask it seems to be, but if he plays fool all the time regardless of his allegiance then I can't really tell for sure.

Let's suppose you're part of the Mafia.

1. You have played several mafia games on MG. You are well aware of the fact that, while lurking is no fun and ruins the game, passive play is both fun and a strong Mafia strategy.

2. Knowing this, you opt to play passively. Your post history in this thread is almost entirely a series of noncommittal jokes, and you have created very little content for us to analyze.

3. 194 informs us of an impending random lynch. You are aware of the fact that a truly unbiased random lynch favors the town, so you attempt to ensure that the random lynch will be beneficial to you as a member of the Mafia; if the Mafia don't lose when the first of their members is lynched, this setup becomes ridiculously mafia sided.

After re-reading the game, the pieces seem to line up to me. Asking others to post doesn't count towards you helping the town to create information.
Could I ask for a reads list from you as well?
