I'm going to suggest an alternate theory for why they reduced the amount of koins. The only MKX games available before day one were company builds and review copies. They likely jacked up the speed of progression for reviewers, so they could unlock all the content faster for their reviews, and then scaled it back down for final release. _________________

I actually got it like a few minutes after saying I was reconsidering. I'm part of the problem, I know.
Add me on PSN!!! Name's Ornsmough I thought the story was really s***. Way shorter than MK9's, had like zero buildup to the climax, no surprising deaths (although I sorta liked the Scorpion becoming Hanzo again twist), and it just ends. There's zero resolution to anything. That said, most of the new characters are pretty rad. Ferra/Torr and Jacqui are kinda lame though. |

Yeah it sets up the next game so hard with an end credits scene. Raiden gets corrupted at the end of X and vows to hunt down anyone threatening Earthrealm, then gives Shinnok's head to Liu Kang and Kitana who are the new leaders of Netherrealm. So long as they don't f*** it up though, it's a cool concept so maybe that story won't be s***.

I'm actually not that into Kotal Kahn, he's sorta just Shao Khan Aztec Edition to me. Erron Black is my favorite new guy, he's cool as f***. Ferra/Torr and Jacqui are the lamest imo.
