It's going okay.
It's not as mighty as it used to be back then, but I guess things tend to age.
I'm not too sure if forums in general are popular nowadays.

4chan and reddit (especially reddit) have a huge amount of separate boards dedicated to specific subjects, each with their own communities. sure, there’s crossover, people are going to visit multiple places, but it’s still hard to put them all under the same banner. meanwhile this is a forum for a smash bros fangame. you’re only here if you like SSF2 or if you’ve been here for a decade like I have. subject specific forums that happen to also have sections for things like games and tv are dying out.

well yeah this is what I was talking about obviously forums for flash fan games will die out eventually, but is the medium dying out? are forums in general just not being used as often anymore?
