This effectively gives us a 1/3 chance of ending the game tonight, however if it's Mafia outnumbering town, then we have three to four days to make this work.

If we can afford to mislynch today, fair enough, but I'm holding my vote off until we get more information because I have nothing to work with.

I don't understand this sentence. The Mafia don't currently and don't have to outnumber the town, they have to make up 50%. Did you look at the link 194 put in the OP?

Ok, that was my bad. I forgot it was fifty percent, so I said 3-4 days before Mafia outnumber town at worst.

Basically, I was trying to be clever and look at possible outcomes, here's a better chart:

Day 1:
Town gets lynched -> 3:2 ratio (Odds of this are 2/3)
Mafia gets lynched -> Town wins. (Odds of this are 1/3)

Day 2:
Town gets lynched twice -> 2:2 ratio, Mafia win. (Odds of this are 3/5 for that day)
Mafia gets lynched -> Town wins (2/5 for that day)

If we were to tree it, it would come to a 60% town winrate and a 40% town winrate, or something like that.

It was basically something saying my view on whether or not we can mislynch or not.

Anyway, I've considered my options and I'm gonna Vote: Lightning. I doubt we can actually afford to mislynch even with the lovers as Mafia, because our chances of success aren't that much better. Maybe Lightning is trying to set us up for failure, who knows.

Not solidifying though.

To everybody: If you didn't get the reference, I was quoting a post made by Semicolon in the last Lovers mafia game where he said that, but only as a joke.

What I believe is that while mislynches are certainly not good for the town, I would rather run the risk of lynching a suspicious player than let it be left up to a random lynch instead which favors the lower number of mafia players.

I don't like how easily you changed your mind about withholding your vote until more information surfaced after receiving a little bit of pressure from other players.
