Actually, I've been thinking of setting up a "Lightning Mafia" topic that will be open all of the time and stay extremely simple.
But of course, if we must abandon our plan, we must. Let's hope we don't, though.

But yeah, joining restrictions of this sort discourage people from joining, as could the complexity of 'watches' and 'items'. A themed mafia is more my style. Heck, a Pick Your Poison mafia'd be nice, too! That said, I'm not dropping out. Not at all. Nosirree.

Ok, is anyone in favor of dropping the joining restrictions? The idea was to avoid lynch mistakes caused by people with bad grammar, but we do want to have enough players for this to be enjoyable. We'll still need short character bios for another reason, but admission requirements won't be so strict. Yes? No? I leave this decision completely up to you guys.

Maybe. In a no-role-reveal setup, I don't know it there is going to be a role list. Unfortunately, I am used to playing with a role list.

We'll see. I can assure you, however, that there will be some sort of investigative role.

As for the role list, it depends. Because of the no-role reveal setup, it might make things a little bit too difficult without one. I'll have to talk it over with Jason. Maybe we could give you guys a role list with a few red herrings. That would narrow it down a little bit.

In other news, no one has really posted about whether or not the grammar wall should be lifted. This one is completely up to the players.


Addendum: Oho! It seems that we actually have enough people signed up to play, providing that Blitz and Weavile don't drop out. I'm still waiting on those descriptions though. From this point on, anyone can still sign up or reserve a spot, however, once all the currently reserving players have posted their biographies, sign-ups will close and the game will start shortly thereafter.

An RP paragraph is not necessary, however, the ability to use English correctly is.

Actually, it is. We don't need anything like back story, but a description of one's appearance is required.
