This game has some weird arcade stories.

Wouldn't say 'weird'. 'Boring and bland' is more accurate (for most of them).

The Sly and Kratos ones are interesting.

Sackboy and Big Daddy's are just wierd though.

Now I haven't gotten a chance to play All-Stars yet, but I would be severely disappointed if his/its wasn't weird given how LittleBigPlanet's narrative usually ends up.

So i played Playstation-All Stars again today with a few different characters i haven't played much:

Jak feels like the weakest character next to Sir Daniel. His AP build is really weak and his first two level supers are really hard to pull off at the precise time. The only way i could achieve my level 1 kill was to use concussion wave (Down + Circle) quickly on an opponent at the corner (so it won't push the opponent back away from Jak) and then use level 1 for a guaranteed hit. Other than that, i basically feel like i have to pull it off at random times to get a kill.

Toro on the other hand is pretty good. After judging him as some kind of joke character from the beginning, i played with him today and he has a strong hand on dealing with 1 on 1 battles. His 3 styles vary him pretty well and his squares are some of the most simple yet most balanced in the game. Don't know why he didn't get much appraise

As for the unlockables: I went to combat trials and got Raiden and Kratos up to level 100. Now as much as i love the game, these intros/taunts/outros are pathetic... Hardly worth leveling up for. For big daddy, i unlocked two of the three unlockable intros and i feel ashamed to call two of them "different intros".

Big Daddy's Intros (The first 3. 1 starter and 2 unlockable intros)
The first intro is the little sister going behind him as he prepares his drill.
The second intro is the same but without the little sister
The third intro is a close-up of the second intro. I'm not even joking

Not really. Sackboy didn't get much of a deduction.

He still plays just as good as he is. The only real two killers in the patch is the deduction of Jam session by 15 points and the Medusa's Gaze item being the most unforgivable item in the entire game.

It basically converts your enemies to pure stone and if you attack them constantly, you instantly kill them. This can give you up to 3 free kills, which technically in a FFA match is pretty freaking scary.

Other than that, Sackboy's supers and AP gain is just a bit harder than his previous level but playing with others online and locally: He pretty much feels the same.

(And still no patch to nerf/fix the overpowered titan that is Kratos).

Anyways, Since Emmett Graves is making his appearance in early 2013, any speculations of how his Build-a-battle system will work or how it will be beneficial to him that makes him stand out from the cast?

Heres my speculation: I think it would be a nice feature for Emmett Graves to use Square and Triangle for his basic attacks. For circle, he can place/upgrade turrets for the cost of AP (The turrets cannot instantly kill). This makes Graves stand out very much for two reasons:

-It gives Graves a more substantial use to the consumption of AP rather than going to obtain supers quickly then spam them when you get the chance
-One word... Variety! Plenty of it! None of the characters in the cast have a really strong use of combining different attacks to create some pretty strong variations other than Sackboy. Graves however could be the strongest in terms of this. Using turrets and upgrading them with short barriers to increase the defense or upgrading them and giving them stronger effects would be Emmett's strongest point in his moveset: building a powerful defense system while hit-and-run constantly to keep building up AP.

You forget one thing: they said that he can drop "bunkers" (I believe is how they phrased it) to change his weapon load-out. This being said I haven't played Star Hawk before, or whatever it's called, but this would be my guess on his buttons:

[_]: Attacks
/_\: Bunkers
( ): Turrets

Other than that I hope your right.

Interesting that Emmett can switch supers based on what loadout he has. Couple that with having some turrets everywhere and not only will he be true to his game, but he'll be fun as f***.

Starhawk gets a little dull after a while, but Emmett honestly looks like one of the most exciting characters in Pasbr.

No, it's locked to your account. (from what I understand)

Keep it handy, you may end up with a Vita one day.

I doubt it, unless Tales of Innocence R comes out here.
