I don't believe so. I think it's going to be Raiden, and that's it as far as playable characters go.

Possible 15th stage found in the beta. Coco Cliffs from Fat Princess. Just a name though, no pictures. Might be a Buzz question though.

Paul Gale says there are more characters than we know. And he keeps hinting at Lightning.

I'd say it's not a stretch to think that there are more stages as well.

Honest Truth: Sly Cooper is the only one i saw so far with the most interesting playstyle out of the cast

So yea.. Lightning is definitely making the roster but she won't be unique at all.. As not only have we seen her playstyle in Dissidia Duodecim but the fact that shes ANOTHER FREAKING GUNNER! That makes another one on the list of Gunners!

-Nathan Drake
-Nathan Hale
-Jak
-Sweet Tooth
-Colonel Radec
-Ratchet
-Lightning

She still has magic and Swords but the guns are also one of her main weapons
Also, the advertising section makes it even worse for the Playstation fans

That means current gen Crash and skylanders Spyro are gonna make the game if the fans want them D; Oh god... </3

Um... Lightning isn't a gunner just because she has a gunblade. She hardly ever uses it. To be a gunner would be to use it their entire moveset.

To call Jak and Ratchet gunners is dumb as well

Plus Sweet Tooth has never stepped out of his car, so that's a stretch

And Nathan Hale isn't in it

That post was dumb

Kojima doesn't consider Revengeance a Metal Gear Solid game...he considers it a different IP.

Really the only gunners in the game are Nathan Drake and Colonel Radec...Sweet tooth has one gun move that's it and it's a close range shotgun!

I main Sweet Tooth in the beta and he is basically a melee character with some awkward psychotic moves lol
Chainsaw spin, Spitting fire breath, and clapping to make an explosion just prove all this!
Personally he is a very fun character to use! <3

That doesn't change the fact that it's still from the MGS universe, though.

Well they could pull a Smash Brothers and do what they did with Mario... and Yoshi...and Wario...yeah I think you get it lol

They are all from the same Mario universe too but represent their own series.
The same can easily be done for Snake and Raiden.

I would hope both Snake and Raiden would be in, although if they did have to choose, they probably would indeed go with just Raiden. Partly because he's already been in two other crossover party brawlers, partly because of Metal Gear Rising, and partly because of

Either way, I hope this using-crossovers-for-advertising-newer-games idea isn't true in this case. It worked with MvC3, but I don't think it'll fly very well here. This game, like SSB was to Nintendo, is supposed to represent the entire history of PlayStation. Having new Dante and Lightning and no Cloud and Crash and Spyro and etc. etc. would be disappointing... Really hoping for a Shadow of the Colossus stage where Final Fantasy characters jump in and take turns attacking the fourth colossus.

I hope the DLC for this game isn't expensive.

Well I thought I read somewhere (could totally be wrong) that All Stars is supposed to represent Sony's "Past, Present, and Future," so it could very well be true on the s**** side of things.

And the Shadow of the Colossus and Final Fantasy crossover stage would be awesome.

I've heard about the Past, Present, and Future thing too, but from the looks of the recent leaks and other speculation, it sounds a bit more like they're focusing more on the Present and Future aspects. Out of the officially revealed characters so far, I'd say only Parappa the Rapper is the only character that represents the Past. Sure, there's Jak & Daxter and Sly, but Jak & Daxter recently had his trilogy re-released in an HD set, and Sly has a fourth game coming out pretty soon, so they have firm footing in the Present era (and also adds more to the s**** argument). I don't know if Parappa has a game of his coming out soon, or if his original games were re-released recently or something, so I'd place Parappa squarely in the Past...

I hope there's a good balance between all three eras they mentioned.

You dont have to count Parappa as the only one representing the past, even though there are still games of some series still being released, they started out long in the past, which is still a part of Sony's history. Twisted Metal is their history as well (its the longest running Playstation exclusive series)

Sir Daniel Fortesque and Spike are here to represent the past.
