k, so, yeah, old anime, but I don't care. I started watching it yesterday, figuring if I wanted to start watching anime it seemed that would be an okay place to start, seeing as it seemed pretty popular. I loved it, really not a bad show. Konata made me laugh quite a few times, and there were some funny moments to it. However, too short.. any explanations as to why it was only 24 episodes long? Kinda bummed me out, I think it could've lasted longer.

It's funny if you spot the references, some of which are blatantly obvious. But aside from that, Lucky Star doesn't have much else going for it in it's humour department.

There was an OVA released about a month ago, but I've yet to find the whole thing subbed. I HOPE there's a second season.. too short... _________________ |

Yeah, Lucky Star (anime) is the adaptation of a yon-koma manga. Second season is still in rumour phase, we'll see if it actually happens. Personally, the OVA was not that impressive. _________________ |

Okay, I just KNOW that there was a Lucky Star topic in existance already. Whatever, too lazy to get it myself.
So yeah, Lucky Star is still awesome. Glad to see you've joined us thedobaga. If you liked Lucky Star, you'll probably like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Or rather, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. I really wish I'd watched Haruhi before Lucky Star. I actually just finished watching it a couple a days ago. Truly amazing, and I'm starting to slap myself for never noticing the Haruhi references in Lucky Star. Both are great, but too short. Luckily, there's a second season of Haruhi coming, but a second Lucky Star season wouldn't hurt either.. _________________ |
