She has a newcomer box in her own page, and the mobile version makes it even clearer. Pardon me?

Sorry about stepping on your toes here, Lucy.
"With the Wii Fit Trainers, the male and female Robins, the Villagers, and Little Mac, varying their appearances and voices works just like selecting alternate color variations. However, whenever there is even a small difference in abilities, that character gets an actual roster slot. That is why you can select Lucina individually."
That settle it for everybody? She's a glorified alt with some minor differences, which are enough to give her her own character slot instead of being considered a traditional alt. Super duper ! ! !
I wonder how many of these there will be? Certainly seems like an easy way to fill up the roster.

True. Hm. Maybe since Mii Fighter was split into three, it was possible to fill up the space that the newcomer picture usually uses. It's just a theory though, so. Also, I'm assuming the power being balanced out throughout the blade means that it gives the same damage and knockback no matter where it connects, giving more damage than Marth's edge but less damage than Marth's tip.

...wtf do you expect, they give people s*** to talk about. and just in general about "leaks" if you're leaking content from a game in development... you must know that whatever it is is subject to change... so leaks & leakers should never hold much merit in the first place ...they're just good conversation material. but how dafuq do they even happen as often as they do anyways. there's so many leaks across the gaming community, like who the f*** is leaking all this content...is there like a robin hood of game content or something ..why does this always happen? ...So lucina is basically Roy?

She really is. @Greater. She is Marth with a little bit of Ike. Also stop trying start arguements with K-bizzle you will never win. Just let her do whatever she wants.

So from what it sounds like: the difference is in the way each of the Character's strengths are handled. Marth requires spacing in order to hit with the end of the sword for maximum damage input while Lucina's strength is balanced so you don't have to focus on spacing. That's a very odd alt difference if you ask me.

Sorry about that I just hate it when K-bizzle calls you names that is all. No Roy attacks are stronger when they hit closer to his body while being weaker at the tip. That's why I said a little bit of Ike because he has a balanced power through out his sword. http://www.ssbwiki.com/Roy_(SSBM)

i imagine her hitbox properties will be different to marth's in various interesting ways, the same way doc was different to mario in melee. hard to imagine that in a clone situation sakurai would just give the unique mechanic to one character and not have some kind of tradeoff given to the other one.
